Brown Fused Alumina

Brown Fused Alumina, characterized by its brownish - tan color, is produced by smelting bauxite as the main raw material in an electric arc furnace at high temperatures. It boasts remarkable properties such as high hardness (around 9 on the Mohs scale), good toughness, excellent high - temperature resistance (with a melting point of up to 2050℃), and strong chemical stability.

Its irregular polyhedral particle shape facilitates efficient grinding.
