White Aluminum Oxide is fused from high-purity alumina powder in an electric arc furnace at very high temperatures. It has brilliant white color, extraordinary hardness, and sharp edges; it is highly resistant to corrosion; and its chemical stability, high bulk density and low porosity give it extraordinary volume stability and thermal shock resistance. Application

1. Precision grinding and polishing
Due to its high hardness and uniform particle size, white corundum micro powder is widely used in high-precision grinding and polishing of precision optical components (such as lenses, prisms), semiconductor wafers, precision metal parts, etc., and can achieve the stringent requirements of surface finish and dimensional accuracy.
2. Advanced ceramic and refractory additives
In the preparation of special ceramics or refractory materials, white corundum micro powder can be used as a reinforcing phase to improve the material's high temperature resistance, thermal shock resistance and mechanical strength, such as for the manufacture of high-temperature kiln linings, spacecraft insulation components or high-performance ceramic tools.
