Product Description

Brown Aluminum Oxide Secondary Grade

Secondary brown corundum is a commonly used abrasive, mainly made from bauxite by high-temperature melting, and its Al2O3 content is usually between 80% and 85%, which is slightly lower than that of primary brown corundum (≥95%). Although slightly lower in purity, secondary brown corundum still has a high hardness (Mohs hardness of about 8.5~9.0) and good toughness, and is suitable for a variety of industrial fields.

Widely used in abrasive manufacturing, sandblasting and rust removal, refractory materials, wear-resistant flooring etc. Due to its low cost and cost-effectiveness, it is widely used in roughing, general grinding and refractory materials.
