Brown Alumina Oxide

Brown Alumina Oxide, characterized by its brownish - tan color, is produced by smelting bauxite as the main raw material in an electric arc furnace at high temperatures. It boasts remarkable properties such as high hardness (around 9 on the Mohs scale), good toughness, excellent high - temperature resistance (with a melting point of up to 2050℃), and strong chemical stability.

Its irregular polyhedral particle shape facilitates efficient grinding. Widely applied across various industries, it is used to manufacture grinding wheels, sandpapers, etc., for grinding and polishing metal and non - metal materials; serves in sandblasting processes to remove rust, oil stains from object surfaces and increase roughness; acts as a key raw material for producing refractory bricks and other refractory materials, applied in high - temperature furnaces in the metallurgical and construction materials industries; is made into coated abrasives to meet the needs of fine processing of wood and metals; functions as a shell - making material in precision casting to ensure casting accuracy; and can also be used as a chemical filler to enhance the abrasion and corrosion resistance of reaction vessels.
